Beginning of September 2013 until mid-May 2014: This influence signifies increased mental activity and a desire to communicate to others something that you consider important. Whether or not your message is important, you probably think it is, so you should take the time to see if that is true. There is no point in loading people up with your ideas and opinions unless they are worth something. And when you speak to others at this time it is vital that you listen to their response. For although you have big ideas and plans, there is a tendency now to overlook details. You may be unwilling to listen to criticism, but if you listen and heed what you are told, this can be an excellent time for making decisions, planning, negotiating and concluding deals or agreements. But this will happen only if you listen to others' opinions.

This is usually a time of optimism and positive feelings. You have confidence in your ideas and are able to get them across. Communications of all kinds are important to you; for example, you may conceivably do some writing at this time.

It is also important not to overextend yourself. Make sure that your plans are no larger than your ability to cope with them. Sometimes with this influence the pace can get pretty hectic, because you have to handle many different affairs at once. This is when sloppy thinking can become especially dangerous.

During this period you may encounter resistance to your ideas and opinions from a number of sources. It is a good time to examine your ideas and see how well they really hold up in an argument. It is a good time to change any views that do not hold up because you can easily enlarge your viewpoint under this influence. Jupiter sextile Ascendant: Efforts with friends

Mid-September 2013 until mid-May 2014: This is usually an extremely fortunate influence for all kinds of social contacts. You will benefit through others, and they will probably benefit through you. If you choose to go it alone at this time, you will waste a valuable opportunity, for you will profit tremendously from team efforts with friends. Also you will have opportunities to work on projects that may be to your personal advantage; these will come from persons you encounter every day at work or around your neighborhood, people from whom you do not expect much beyond the usual social exchanges.

At this time you will have the opportunity to expand your contacts with the larger world. Sometimes this influence is a sign of travel, but certainly you will encounter people whose backgrounds are quite different from yours and whose experience will increase your understanding of the world. Several of these people may become permanent friends whom you will benefit from knowing.

You may also benefit from old friends. You may be offered a chance to go into business with a friend, or a friend may tell you about a good chance to get ahead in some way.

End of September 2013 until end of May 2014: You feel very light-hearted and sociable now and want to spend as much time as possible with others. This is a good time for taking a vacation, attending social gatherings, or participating in other forms of amusement and fun. It is not conducive to any kind of serious effort, because you are inclined to feel pleasantly lazy and unenterprising. There is also a very strong self-indulgent streak to this influence. Be very careful not to eat or drink too much.

Fortunately you have the ability to make others feel good if they are unhappy or depressed, and as a result, people enjoy being around you at this time. You may have the chance to do favors for others that will eventually be returned. And since you feel generous and giving, you will not mind doing them.

In some instances this influence has a way of drawing money or other material resources to you. But don't sit around planning how to spend a sudden windfall from heaven, as many people do with this influence. It is a possibility, but only one among many and not the most likely.

Actually it is more likely that you will spend money on objects that you consider beautiful. Others may not appreciate your taste at this time, however, because it tends toward the flashy or gaudy. Be careful that you don't get stuck with something that will offend your own taste in a soberer moment.

You have a great desire for beauty, however, and if your taste is sound you will surround yourself with objects that you can enjoy for years and that will also gain in value.

Jupiter trine Saturn: Clarity of intention

Beginning of October 2013 until beginning of June 2014: During this time you can work patiently and slowly to build something up. You are able to keep in mind your long-range goals while dealing with all the everyday concerns that arise. Consequently the work that you undertake now is usually very well done. You have an unusual understanding of the relationship between the parts and the whole.

This is an appropriate time to handle all manner of practical concerns. Your mind is earthbound, but you don't lack vision and foresight. Therefore this is an excellent time to expand an existing business, start a new one, or branch out into a new area of business. After you find the most practical solution to any problem, you move immediately in that direction. Clarity of intention is one of the strongest points of this influence.

During this time you will not want to be with other people especially. It is a good time to go off by yourself and think things over so that you can arrive at the clearest idea of what you want to do. But don't worry about feeling lonely. The seclusion will be good for you and not at all unpleasant.

All your actions are governed by a strong sense of duty. You recognize the many responsibilities that you have in the world, and you are willing to live up to them as best you can. You may take a rather paternal attitude toward the people around you, wanting to protect them and take on their troubles as your own. Be careful not to overdo this, however, because even though you have good intentions, beyond a point you have no right to take over people's lives. They must deal with their own problems.

End of October 2013 until beginning of June 2014: This influence indicates the beginning of a new cycle of growth and progress. However, it is often the focus of exaggerated expectations. You may expect sudden windfalls, great wealth or luck, and all kinds of wonderful opportunities. And these things do happen sometimes with this influence, but most people should expect more subtle, but equally useful effects.

Events now, such as meetings with persons or even changes in your psyche, open the way for you to become wiser and more mature and to have a broader understanding of the world. At this time you will reach out consciously and unconsciously and ask more of the world, but at the same time you are willing to give more to the world.

This influence can make you feel either more demanding or more giving toward others, but you are not likely to get much out of it if you think only of what you can get. The law of conservation of energy in the universe says that you can transform the energies in your life from one form to another, but you cannot create them out of nothing. This influence represents a time when you should see whether you are doing that in your life.

Concretely, you can expect persons who are good for you to come into your life. Or circumstances will arise that give you increased freedom or an opportunity to do something that you have never done before. Mid-November 2013 until end of August 2014: This influence has two quite different meanings. First of all, it can indicate a period in which intimate one-to-one relationships become an area of great responsibility. Chief among these is your marriage or living with your partner, but it also refers to close partnerships of any sort. You must pay close attention to these relationships. Strains and tensions that have been developing in the recent past are likely to surface now and must be dealt with immediately! Sometimes the only way to handle these problems is to end the relationship, so this can be a time of great trial for a marriage. Even under the best of circumstances you will have to work harder on partnerships and try to solve as many problems as possible.

Related to this is another possible area of concern: namely, problems with people who oppose your interests in various matters. Such people can range from outright enemies to those who simply want to keep you in check for some reason. If this kind of problem arises, all you can do is try to understand the person's motivation and do what you can to eliminate their reasons for opposing you.

But aside from these two kinds of problems involving others, this influence means that at this time you are making a significant breakthrough in your life.

For several years now you have been working quietly to get ahead and make new beginnings, particularly in your professional life. Now the work you have been doing is beginning to bear fruit and you will be acknowledged.
