A common problem for people approaching retirement is that they have no idea what to do with their coming leisure time. All they know is their work, and when that ends, their life effectively ends. Your creative potential is enormous at this time, and you can very easily accomplish a great deal that would be difficult at other times. Your inner energies are strong, and you are full of self-confidence and the feeling that you can do anything.

This influence usually indicates good health and a feeling of well-being, although you may be inclined to put on weight if you are not careful. You may not feel inclined toward physical activity, but it would be a good idea to get some exercise. Make a particular effort to be outdoors. Hiking is a very beneficial activity at this time.

If you are inclined to physical activity, especially athletics, don't take foolish risks through overconfidence. This influence tends to make you overestimate your energies.

This is an excellent time for all financial matters. You will feel like making your surroundings appear more elegant, and you may spend quite a lot of money doing so. This is perfectly fine, and you should think positively in all ways, but don't let this concern with material acquisition blind you to some very real possibilities for inner growth.

A loved one may become restless and begin to question the basis of your relationship. He may demand more freedom and ask that the relationship be changed considerably. A good relationship probably will not break up, but all kinds of tension will surface that you and your partner may not have dealt with before. You should allow this to happen and not try to smooth over feelings that should be expressed.

It is also possible that you may be the one who becomes restless and demands a change in the relationship. You may begin to feel that it has become boring, so you seek out a new relationship that will provide the excitement that you feel is lacking. Under this influence people often form relationships that would seem highly improbable to themselves and others under other circumstances. The problem is that there is a real ambiguity in your mind about yourself and your relationships. You want to be close to people and to be free at the same time. Consequently you will be attracted to relationships that either express your desire for freedom or that are impossible to consummate, as described above. For this reason you should not expect any relationship formed under this influence to last very long. It could last, but you should not expect it. This is a good time to enjoy the present. Don't live in the future!

It would be much better to use this energy to redefine and change your existing relationships, if they have anything at all to offer, so that they are a more complete expression of yourself and your loved ones. From 12 June 2013 until 21 June 2013: This influence usually represents a time of optimism and positive thinking in your life. You seem to be at a quiet point of balance that enables you to look over the affairs of your life and get a good perspective on them. Therefore, it is a good time to make long-range plans and to reorganize. You should use this time to gain new perspectives through education or travel or by participating in one of the consciousness raising activities or groups that exist now.

This is a time of psychological and physical equilibrium. If you have recently been ill in either body or mind, this influence will help tremendously with the healing process.

This is also a good time to examine your ideals and your goals, for it may be possible to actualize them in various ways now. At other times there is too much tension in your life or too much resistance from others. If you are involved in any movement for reform, now is a good time to take some positive action. Or you might become more involved in religion or philosophy, because you need to know much that is beyond the apparent order of things.

It is quite possible that you will do nothing during this time, because it gives you a feeling of balance but no drive to do anything in particular. You have an unusual sense of ease and relaxation now. This is also a good time to travel, both for relaxation and for educational reasons.

The most negative aspect of this influence is reluctance to live up to your responsibilities. Be careful that in your desire for freedom you do not let people down who are really counting on you. On the other hand, you have to strike a balance between the demands that others make on you and your need to be yourself.

At the same time, this influence arouses your idealism. You find it very hard to accept sordid or unjust conditions, either in your personal surroundings or in the outer world. For this reason you may become involved in a reform movement or group that works to change social conditions.
