Sun in Cancer, Moon in Taurus
You were born with the Sun in Cancer and the Moon in Taurus. Internally, you have a receptive,
stubborn, and imaginative disposition. Your whole life is, in one way or another, connected with
family interests and domestic ties. You are very impressionable.
We could say that you are somewhat timid and reserved. The Moon in Taurus gives a personality
which is more outward and extroverted, but because your Sun is in Cancer, these qualities will be
somewhat limited. Cancer makes its people economical and very tenacious, but not violently so.
To others you appear quite persistent and determined. You do not reject sociability, and your
good disposition makes for friendship. You like to work on simple problems and dislike
subtleties of an intellectual-philosophical nature.
Ascendant in Cancer, Moon in the Tenth House
At the time of your birth the zodiacal sign of Cancer was ascending in the horizon. Its ruler
the Moon is located in the tenth house.
Cancer is the fourth sign of the zodiacal belt and its natives are under the rulership of the
Moon. Your life will be full of changes and intermittent periods of activity and relaxation. Your
vulnerability to external influences makes you subconsciously imitate the manners and ways of
those with whom you relate.
In many instances, circumstances will require that you play the role of worldliness and
sophistication but under the mask there will exist a very sensitive human being who is easily
offended, and also very perceptive of the more subtle influences and impressions, as well as of
psychic vibrations.
Cancer gives the tendency to completely retreat when hurt or frightened of a situation. This
happens to you often because you tend to interfere in the affairs of others when you are not
needed or wanted. Throughout your life, your responses will be emotional rather than rational.
Cancer also gives a tendency for life to be centered in the home and family; your attachment to
your private and domestic habits is so strong that without them you could hardly endure. In love
matters, you are emotional and gentle.
For the difficult aspects we must warn you against becoming overly preoccupied with trivial
details of a psychological nature. Another tendency that you have is to flatter and to criticize
carelessly, without regard for the other person's feelings.
Destiny may place you in environments where your natural traits can be best expressed. You will
be happier when allowed to be occupied with searching for a person or a thing, though not
necessarily in important work.
Your life will be geared to obtain public standing with honor, esteem and reputation. The
trajectory of your existence appears as very energetic with a disposition of command and
leadership. There are many life goals and excellent possibilities of achievement. You tend
towards extroversion and may overemphasize public activities to the detriment of your family.

Sun in the First House
The Sun is in the first house. You are by nature energetic, proud and self-assertive. You
project yourself enthusiastically and energetically into all situations. Your naturally outgoing
disposition and personable manner usually make a good impression on people.
Your heightened self-perception puts you in touch with a strong sense of will, and you can
manipulate your will to suit your aims and desires in life. This position of the Sun gives the
capacity for leadership, for you tend to attract people and to have a strong influence on them
when they are with you.
You do not like to depend on others, but you hold on to your friends, for they are usually
pleased to help you when you need it. You are willing to help close friends who are deserving,
but only if you know that your efforts will be appreciated.
You often prefer to work alone. However, this is not your only choice, for you adapt well to
working with people as long as you are free to express yourself. With a first-house Sun, there is
a tendency to overestimate your own worth, but through repeated contacts with others you will
inevitably come to a more realistic appraisal of your abilities and potential.

The Sun conjunct the Ascendant shows that you have a great desire for recognition and are
creative in finding ways to gain attention. In general you are uncompromising. You have great
faith in your ability to rise above any of life's negative circumstances. You know how to use
your vast creative resources in a direct assault against any adversary, and you believe that
eventually you will succeed. Most often you do, but when challenged by stiff competition you will
resort to brute force to demonstrate that you do not give in without a fight. You know how to
win friends and influence people, and you use this talent effectively.
To be truly comfortable in your profession, you need to have a position of some authority over
others.
Venus in the First House
Venus is in the first house. This is a strong position for Venus, for it adds charm to your
personality and gives you an amiable and pleasant disposition.
You concentrate a great deal on your appearance and even if you are not especially beautiful or
handsome, you have a quality of softness and friendliness, which endears you to many.
You like to keep beauty and grace around you as much as possible. You have a strong affinity with
nature and prefer the quiet life of the country to the plastic constructions of city life.
It is likely that you grew up in an atmosphere of warmth and congeniality. Now it is easy for you
to project these same feelings to family and friends, and others often count on you to restore
peace in difficult situations.
You have strong inclinations toward music, art and drama and you may wish to cultivate a form of
artistic expression.
You work very hard to get along with others, and you usually try to win arguments with diplomacy
rather than force. You must learn to be self-assertive when necessary and to stand up for your

adversely.
Moon in the Tenth House

indication of your ability to adjust to varying conditions. Whatever your temperamental qualities
may be, destiny will place you in situations where you will have dealings with the public.
Some public note could eventually come your way. Yet you should remember that the Moon successes
are rather ethereal and do not maintain a permanent state.
Imagination, a tenacious disposition and ability to relate to the public are among your
attributes. Outwardly, you will appear as one who reacts to emotions rather than to reason, yet
you attempt a logical rationalization of your impulsive notions. You will better develop your

Saturn in the Tenth House

person who seeks worldly success. The inhibiting powers of Saturn are expressed in a heavy,
cautious, and very serious personality. Many of the limitations that will arise throughout life

ability to endure difficulties with patience.
