Introduction This report is a short edition of the Youth Horoscope. It is meant as a sample and advertisement for the full version of the Youth Horoscope which can be ordered from Astrodienst as a downloadable E-Horoscope of about 20 - 30 pages. In the short edition, only a few, but nevertheless important aspects of your natal chart are considered.
Scorpio Rising You are rather quiet and reserved, but others see clearly that you have deep emotions and feelings, even though you may not say very much. But you do find it difficult to make yourself understood to people. You are quite stubborn, and if necessary you will fight very hard for your position against anyone who opposes you. Your anger is not easily aroused, but when it is, it can't be calmed down easily. You like to experience life with your total being. Thus you may display a kind of courage that others find frightening, although you are not usually reckless. In addition, you are quite sensitive to other people's feelings. You are somewhat easily hurt, but instead of pulling back, you often strike out with a cutting remark or biting sarcasm. Anyone who watches you at all carefully will see your anger.
The child's horoscope by Liz Greene is especially written for parents who want to enable their children to follow their own path right from the start. This horoscope in particular shows Liz Greene's wide experience and her deep insights into the development of personality.
Sun in Capricorn You are much more serious than others your age. On the one hand, you like being taken seriously and enjoy having responsibility, but on the other hand you see that other young people aren't saddled with such responsibilities, and you tend to envy them. You may develop a rather odd and unusual sense of humor. Through jokes and humor, you show that you recognize the seriousness of life, but you also escape from its overwhelming effects. When you grow up, you want to be important and achieve something real that everyone can point to as yours. You are ambitious in everything you do and will work very hard to excel over others. You are very practical and always ask what good something is.
Sun in the Second House You love security, which for you means being surrounded by comfortable and familiar objects. The only problem is that you may try to own more things than you really need, so that your life is cluttered with material possessions. You may find it difficult to share, but if you want to have good friendships, you will have to learn how. You are even possessive of your friends, and don't like to share them with anyone else. If a friend pays too much attention to someone else while you are together, you are likely to feel jealous. But you have to learn to share that person with others.
Moon in Gemini Your emotions change very rapidly, and you are quite restless. You get bored rather quickly, and your attention tends to wander if you have to keep it fixed on one object too long. But you are very curious and eager to try out every new experience. You enjoy traveling as a chance to have new experiences. And you feel the same way about new ideas, wanting to learn everything there is to learn. One very good feature of this Moon position is that you will probably learn to let your intellect control your emotions. In situations where others act wildly and emotionally, you can keep your cool and see what is really happening.
Moon in the Seventh House You choose personal friends by your emotional reactions to them. Unless people appeal strongly to your emotions and offer emotional support and security, you are not attracted to them. You attract people whose emotions are strong and close to the surface because you like to be aware of your friends. The reason you attract such people is that they help you understand your own feelings. It is likely that you will marry or form a close partnership early in your life. You need the security and emotional closeness of such a relationship.
Venus in Scorpio Your feelings about people are very intense; you either like them very much or not at all. Only deep relationships have any meaning for you. You find it somewhat difficult to tell someone that you like him or her, because you are afraid of being rejected. It is hard to put your feelings into words, because they seem so complicated. And it is true that not everyone will understand you and your feelings, but you will just have to accept that.
Venus in the First House This is a very favorable position because it enables you to make a good impression on others and to be liked. You concentrate a great deal on your appearance, because you hate to look sloppy. You may develop some artistic talent, which will be furthered by your sense of form and design. You work very hard to get along with others, and you usually try to win arguments with diplomacy and tact rather than force. You must learn to be self-assertive when necessary and to stand up for your rights, forcefully if need be. You can give the world much beauty, and you will present it most effectively if you learn to combine charm with strength.
Mars in Leo You have a great deal of pride, and you enjoy doing things on your own initiative. An appeal to your sense of fairness brings out the best in you, and you will do anything to maintain these qualities. At times you may act arrogant and domineering toward others. You can't always be first, but you have such a need to be a leader that it may be difficult for you to accept anyone else in this role. You demand that others let you be yourself so you can run your life as you want. You probably have considerable self-confidence and even courage, but you are not especially reckless. At best you have a good understanding of yourself, of your limitations as well as your strengths. In fact, you may feel uncomfortable with your emotions and weaknesses.
Mars in the Ninth House You are strongly attached to your own point of view, and if challenged, you will fight very hard for your opinions. You are much more likely to fight for an ideal than for yourself. On one hand, you can be quite self-righteous and narrowly fanatical about your beliefs, but you can also be courageous in defending the rights of those who are downtrodden. You don't get involved just at the mental level; you act on your beliefs. Try not to get so wrapped up in your own views that you won't even consider someone else's. As you get older, you may want to travel around and see quite a bit of the world, which would be a good experience for you.
