CD "Music of the Spheres"

CD-Cover Planetenmusik In May 2013, the developers of the Astrodienst sound horoscope have published the CD "Planetenmusik / music of the spheres". This CD is the result of a long-lasting cooperation between Hartmut Warm, researcher and author of the book "Die Signatur der Sphären" (The signature of the spheres), the musician Brian Cranford and the artist Tobias Krug. The carefully produced CD makes the movements of the planets around the Earth audible by employing different instrumentations. They sometimes sound orchestral, then again rhythmically complex, there are elements of Jazz and World Music - but they all have in common that they are based on planetary aspects. A fascinating musical journey through the cosmos!

Two different concepts are used in realising the music of the spheres. The two methods are arranged in blocks of six. Tracks 1-6 follow the signature of the spheres by Hartmut Warm (Keplerstern publications), while tracks 7-12 embody the music of the spheres according to Brian Cranford's and Tobias Krug's acoustic clock. Both methods have one thing in common: They represent a certain period of time, and the inter-planetary relations are strongly condensed, i.e. they run in fast motion.
