Biography

German educator, author and philosopher. A gym instructor in 1871, he became a lecturer on pedagogy in 1884 at the University of Strasburg and a Professor by 1886. As an author, his work substantially enriched thef literature of moral philosophy. Ziegler retired in 1911.
