Biography
American actress perhaps best known for her role in the TV sitcom "Family Ties."
The daughter of a film producer and younger sister to three brothers who did commercials, she began her own film career at age 3 when she followed her brothers into commercials. In 1982, not even 10 years old, she made her first feature film, "Shoot the Moon." That year she began her role as Jennifer Keaton in the popular "Family Ties" as the youngest child in a family of three raised by former hippie parents. Her co-star, playing her conservative older brother named Alex, was Michael J. Fox.
Yothers faded after the series ended in 1989. She became quite chubby but made the news after she lost the substantial amount of 42 pounds in 2006. She married Robert Kaiser in August 2002 and their first child named Lilly (Lillian) was born in October 2005. They welcomed their second child, a son named Jake born in Orange County, CA on September 24, 2007.
