Biography
Brazilian top model, actress, singer and recording artist know as a famous cross between Madonna and Capt. Kangaroo. Noted as a children's TV entertainer, her image sells clothes, dolls, magazines and other paraphernalia. In 1991, George Lucas directed her first international movie with locations in Mexico, California and Brazil. Six-years later, in 9/1997, Xuxa began filming on a new TV series, "Yo Quiero a Xuxa," a Latin version of the American "I Love Lucy."
Questionable as a pre-school role model, she has posed for Playboy and starred in an X-rated movie. Hosting her own TV show, she is idolized by both Brazilians and Argentineans.
She was the steady girlfriend of soccer star, Pele, for ten years and he boosted her career by opening doors in the entertainment industry. Her relationship with actor-businessman Luciana Szafir has produced their daughter, Sasha. Born 7/28/1998, 0:45 BZT, Rio de Janeiro, she was born by C-section with the cord wrapped around her neck, no problems.
