Biography

American cartoonist and creator of the character, "Ziggy," seen nationwide in newspaper serials and bookstands. For a time period, Ziggy received notoriety in the form of wide endorsements of merchandising, with the public sporting his T-shirts, key chains and general phrases of humor.

He died of pneumonia in a Cincinnati, OH nursing home on September 16, 2011.
