Biography

American musician, songwriter and drummer with "The Beach Boys," a top American group with the staying power to survive their clashes in the late '70s and keep on top with platinum sales.

A handsome man, he led a chaotic life, married four times with six or seven kids. His fourth marriage ended in a divorce in November 1983.

On 12/28/1983 he drowned while swimming off of a friend's docked boat at Marina Del Rey, CA.
