Biography
American musician, a singer/songwriter and rapster. He was a member of the Green-Eyed Peas. Already a successful musician, he rose to national cross-generational attention with his 2008 song "Yes, We Can" in support of Barack Obama's campaign for the US Presidency. After the November 2008 election he issued, "It's a New Day" to celebrate the election of the first US President with African-American heritage.
