American singer who enjoyed a successful career in the recording industry, singing radio station and advertising jingles from the 1950s to the 1980s. Although she was Dallas-based, her perfectly-pitched alto voice graced hundreds of musical radio identification jingles for stations across the United States.
From 1987 to 1997, she worked as an editorial specialist in the scientific publishing department of the American Heart Association. She died in a Dallas hospital on 16 January 2010 due to complications of ovarian cancer. Survived by her husband, two children and two grandchildren.
