Biography
French caricaturist and writer. For satirizing German characters in his sketches, he was ordered to prison for a year in 1914, but escaped to France where he served in the army. Known as "Uncle Hansi," he published several volumes which incensed the Germans.
Waltz died 6/10/1951, Colmar.
