Biography
Canadian singer, songwriter, actor, and radio and television host, Voisine writes and performs in both English and French. In 1994 he won the Juno Award for Male Vocalist of the Year. Three years later he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada.
The handsome entertainer credits the beginning of his musical career to the summer of 1986 when he performed on Canada Day in Montreal. A natural for television, he began hosting his "Top Jeunesse" in 1988; a year later, June 1989, he released his first album, "Hélène," an album which garnered praise and healthy sales. Voisine performs internationally and lives in Canada and in France.
