Biography
American Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright, she won the prestigious award in 1998 for "How I Learned to Drive." Vogel tackles tough social issues in her plays such as child molestation in "How I Learned to Drive" and AIDS in "The Baltimore Waltz" which opened in 1992 and copped an Obie for best play.
