Biography

British musician, a punk rocker with the "Sex Pistols." Actually, he could not play bass guitar at all but sang and presented the desired image of angry angst. He and his girlfriend, Nancy Spungeon were heavy-duty druggies and he stabbed her to death on 10/12/1978 in the Chelsea Hotel, New York City.

Sid was charged with her murder but died of a heroin overdose in Greenwich Village, NY on 5/10/1979 before the case went to trial.
