Biography
Italian fencer, winner of the Olymic Gold Medal in 2000 and in 2004. Her main rival has been Giovanna Trillini, from the same hometown of Jesi. Vezzali has won four Olympic medals (three gold and one silver) in individual foil and the since-discontinued team foil event. She's also the reigning world champion.
