Biography
American musician, a rock star considered by some to have been the greatest blues guitarist ever. He died in a helicopter crash early on 8/27/1990 in East Troy, Wisconsin. One news account reported that the helicopter was cleared for lift-off at 12:40 AM but the time is uncertain.

A source who wishes to remain anonymous writes (Feb/2003) that Vaughan was into the occult and the problem is that his relatives (who have his birthtime and control his estate) are against Astrology (work of Satan, etc.) and will not release this info. Vaughan most assuredly had his chart done by someone in Austin, Texas. He was born in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas, TX. In Sept 2010, the person wrote to say that a Texan astrologer used a time of 10:13 AM but neither the original source not the astrologer can be verified. Therefore this time must be treated with caution.
