Biography
French ecclesiastic, a Roman Catholic Archbishop who was ordained into the priesthood on June 29, 1949. On June 13, 1970 he was elevated to Bishop; 15 years later, June 21, 1985, he was made Archbishop. He resigned from his post on March 1, 1996.
