Biography
Polish author and novelist noted for "Treasure of Sierra Nevada." He died at the base of Propocateple, a volcano, not far from Mexico City, 3/26/1969.

Lescaut quotes the biography by W. Wyatt. Selma Schepel sends an article by a well-known German astrologer who uses February 22, a day earlier. She writes that a journalist friend went to Mexico to interview Traven's widow for an article. The date of birth which was registered on his Last Will was May 3, 1890, Chicago, IL. The death certificate was given as March 26, 1969, 5:40 AM CST, Acapulco, Mexico.
