Biography
American football player, a quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts. Although a QB in the NFL, Toretta has gained the most fame for his spectacular college career at the University of Miami. Week after week he led his team to victory, accumulating 7,000 aerial yards over the span of his four-year career. For his efforts and accomplishments, he was awarded the Heisman Trophy in 1992. His NFL career has been much less rosy. In the four-year span from 1993-1997, he played for six different teams, including one world-league team.
