Biography
Belgian Jewish lawyer, writer and scholar, involved in the foundation of the U.N.O. A noted art collector, Torczyner appeared as a guest in a Flemish TV program. He later became immersed in politics.
He was a friend and legal advisor to the artist Magritte and wrote several books about his work. He donated a number of Magritte’s paintings to the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Israel Museum in Jerusalem.
