Biography
English-born American, with a noted family member Benjamin Thompson. While a young child in 1851, his family emigrated from England to the US and settled in Austin, TX, a rough small town that endured outlaws and raids by American Indians. Billy seemed to follow a similar pattern to his brother's--gambling and fighting. He died, reportedly of natural causes, in 1897.
