American business administrator and CEO of First Tennessee National, a retail and financial lending institution. Terry is a graduate of Memphis State with a BS in Business Administration, 1952, and has been a CEO for over 20 years. After a three-year cost-cutting program with the elimination of 10% of their work force, real estate loan problems seem to be behind them and the companies earnings are up sharply. Although a team player at the office, Terry enjoys the solitude of fly fishing when away for leisure time.
