Biography
Air-France Flight AF 8969 from Algiers to Paris was scheduled to leave Algiers on 12/24/1994 at 11:15 AM and land at Orly airport at 1:25 PM. Events unfolded shortly before take-off when an Algerian police officer was murdered, followed a few minutes after by the assassination of a young Vietnamese man.
At 9:31 PM, Yannick Beugnet, a cook for the French embassy, was shot in the head. The plane left Algiers on 12/251994 at 02:00 AM and landed at the Marseille airport at 3:33 AM.
The assault by the swat team started on 12/26/1994 at 5:12 PM and by 5:25 PM the four terrorists had been shot down.
