Biography
Terrorist attack on Sharm al-Sheikh, an Egyptian resort area that killed 88 people and injured over 200 more. Three bombs were detonated nearly simultaneously, one at the Old Market, which was busy at that time of day, and two at Naama Bay. One of the three car bombers drove his car through a barrier into the wall of a hotel in the resort area. The bombings occurred within a three-mile area and came at the height of a busy tourist season, on a holiday weekend.
