Biography
American politician, US Congressman and presidential hopeful in the 2008 race.
Tancredo is a conservative Republican. He began his career as a teacher until his 1976 election to the Colorado state legislature.
In 1998 he was elected to the US House of Representatives.
Tancredo and his wife Jackie married in 1977 and have two sons.
