Cancer rising?

In A Brief Essay on the Rectification of T.E. Lawrence's Horoscope, Dr. Manuel Monasterio has an interesting speculative chart for Lawrence. According to him, TEL may have been born in 16 August 1888, at 0:40 AM. This gives an ascendant at 5º 06' Cancer, which matches TEL personality (passion of history and of things past, large imagination and inteligence, deep inner sensitivy hidden under an hard exterior, compassionate and helping behaviour, protectiveness, secretiveness, loneliness, love of a very private home [his cottage in Clouds Hill]) and physical characteristics. (Please compare photo of TEL with photos of Robert de Niro and Steve McQueen, two confirmed Cancer rising natives: all of them have the same though, hardened mask-like features.)

Given the discrepancy between the register birth date of 15th August, stated by his father, and the statement by his mother that he was born "in the small hours of the 16th", it is quite possible that he was born between 0:00 and 1:00 of the 16th. Very long after that (like the much speculative "5:00") would not prompt his father into the error of registering the birth as having occurred in the 15th.--Filipe F 19:32, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
