Talk:Cochrane, David
Some of this bio of me makes sense but some is incorrect. Software development started as an extension of ideas in harmonics and not vice versa. Credit for entrepreurship goes more to my wife, credit for ISAR ethics goes mostly to Glenn Perry, and credit for ISAR's financial stability and growth and membership goes mostly to Ray Merriman. My guess is that someone combined a bio of me with Aries rising and a 2nd house Taurus stellium, but the astrology distorted the bio. I can explain why the bio is inaccurate in detail, but I don't think it is necessary. Here is a suggestion for a revised bio:
American astrologer and computer programmer, head developer of the Kepler, Sirius, and Pegasus astrology software. In the 1970's he was a full-time practicing astrologer until he left his practice late in the decade to devote full-time to astrological programming. David developed new ideas in harmonic astrology, degree meanings, composite charts and more. He is co-founder and curriculum director of the Avalon School of astrology. He served as president of ISAR from 2001-2003, expanding the program for raising professional standards. He has a B.A. degree in psychology and enrolled in a Ph.D. program in 2008, is married, and has one child.
