Biography
French journalist, film critic, scriptwriter and director. He began writing scripts for TV and movies from the early '60s and started directing from the early '70s. His first feature film was in 1973 and he was successful in the American market with "Cousin, Cousin" in 1976, which was nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Picture.
