Biography

American homicide; a mass murderer by the time he was 18. He began an affair with Carol Fugate when she was 13 and he was 18. On 1/21/1958 he murdered her parents and they went together on a murder and robbery binge, blazing a trail across Nebraska. He was convicted of his crimes the same year in which he committed them.

He said that he had "built up a hate that was as hard as iron after being called the bowlegged, redheaded woodpecker" on his third day of kindergarten. A psychologist replied that the teen was "thirsty for power over someone" and his instrument to gain recognition became a gun.

Died by electrocution on 6/25/1959 in the electric chair at NW State Penitentiary in Lincoln, NE. The switch was thrown at 00:01 AM and he was declared officially dead at 00:04 AM.
