Biography

American witch and author of books about her field, including "The Spiral Dance: A Rebirth of the Ancient Religion of the Great Goddess," 1979. Starhawk is an activist in defense of the old religion and her work has been the catalyst for individuals rediscovering the pagan's world view. Her most recent book, "The Fifth Sacred Thing," was published in 1993. She speaks and teaches, leading workshops all over North America and the world about the stories, rituals, practices and views of ecofeminist Witchcraft.
