Biography
Italian boat, designed by David Egan, German Frers and Doug Peterson with a budget of $50 million, built and sponsored by Prada. On 3/01/2000, it raced in the America Cup Challenge, losing the race to the New Zealand Team after a thrilling and valiant contest.
The entire team of 24 members are linked with the Luna Rosa, along with the skipper, Francesco De Angelis and the owner and CEO, Patrizio Bertelli.
