American actor on stage, film and TV a swarthy leading man who has played internationally in films. On stage from youth, he made a mark at 14 in "Shadow Box." In films from the late '70s, his work has included "Over the Edge," 1979, "Maria's Lovers," 1985, "City of Hope," 1991 and "Alive" 1992.
