Biography

American revolutionary, one of ten members of a radical militant group, the SLA (Symbionese Liberation Army). The group made their dramatic statement of intent by kidnapping the heiress, Patty Hearst on 2/04/1974. Their dramatic demise came on 5/17/1974 in a violent shoot-out in which five members died, including Soltysik. A gun-toting, leather-clad lesbian, she succumbed to gases from a fire which broke out during the melee.
