Biography
South African statesman and lawyer, the State Attorney of the Transvaal Republic and a General in the Boer War. After 1910 he served as the Minister of the Interior, of Defense, of Finance, and of Justice. Nine years later he became the Prime Minister of the Union of South Africa.
He died on 9/11/1950, Irene, situated outside Pretoria in South Africa.
