Biography
American noted family, the adopted son of Michael Landon when he was one week old. Jason's birth certificate was changed under California law to have Landon's name and the adoption was final on 1/02/1962. The actor and his wife separated the following year and Dodie got custody of Jason; however, when they divorced in 1964, they put him back into the adoption circuit, though they kept their other, older adopted child, Josh. Jason was three when he went to an elderly Houston, Texas couple with three adult kids.
When Jason was ten, his dad died and mom went into a nursing home. He was shuttled back and forth with kin, managing to get into minor trouble. At 17, he moved out on his own.
At 30, Jason was established as a grocery manager in a supermarket. He never saw the Landons again.
