Biography
American business exec, the heir of Enron. When the corporation went bankrupt 12/02/2001, it carried the life savings of many former employees and others who had bought its stock; however, it came out that the top executives had sold off millions of dollars in stock in the six months prior to it's failure. As days went by the company failure became bigger and messier and may well prove to be the first serious scandal of Bush's Presidency as the implications lead all the way to the White House. The Chairman of Enron's Board was a big contributor to Bush in the last election.
He was convicted in May 2006 for his role in the Enron scandal. In October 2006 he was sentenced to 24 years and four months in prison. He continued to protest his innocence.
