Biography
American actress. Although most of her work has been in independent films, she received an Oscar nomination for her work in "Boys Don't Cry" in 1999.
She grew up in Connecticut and, as a young girl, was taken by fashion. Her original career goal was to be a model but she fell into films and found a niche.
