Biography
American missing child who disappeared after spending the night with a girlfriend. She vanished on 08/04/1990 around noon as she walked home. The official report was telephoned to police at 12:01 PM CDT. Thousands of community volunteers rallied to search for her.
The case was featured on "America's Most Wanted," TV show and a $40,000 reward was posted. The search finally came to an end three weeks after her disappearance, 8/25/1990 at 4:30 PM CDT when her badly decomposed body was found on a wooded ranch approximately eight miles northwest of Wimberley, Texas. The police were left with no suspects and the case was not resolved.
