Source Notes
In January 2008 PT changed this record to AA based on Shelley Jordan's e-mails with the Director of the Schumann house: Dear Shelley Jordan,
thanks for your inquiry.
There is a baptism record for Robert Schumann in the so called "Kirchenbücher" (= church books, i.e. baptism records) of the Zwickau Marienkirche (today called Dom) of which a copy is displayed in our permanent exposition. It says that Schumann was born "Abends halb zehn Uhr" (in the evening half past nine).
Best wishes for your research article (of which we would be very grateful for a copy for our research library)
Yours
