Biography
Italian composer and keyboard virtuoso who produced his first opera at the age of 18 and went on to compose over 600 pieces for the harpsichord. He was a court musician in Lisbon and Madrid. In his later years he became so obese he could not cross his hands while playing as he did when he was young. His father, Allessandro, was also a very good musician.
Died 7/23/1757 in Madrid.
