Biography
Italian ex-police officer afflicted with mental illness, diagnosed schizophrenic. On 4/11/1998, he tried to hijack a train in Italy. On 3/02/1999, he hijacked an Air-France airplane, using a remote-control devise with which he threatened to blow it up. He was immediately captured before he could do any damage while the whole incident was caught on TV cameras. On 11/27/2002, once more he hijacked a flight to Bologna-Paris. After being apprehended, he hanged himself in jail, 12/07/2002.
