Biography
German chief surgeon during the Third Reich who gained international repute by operating on the top Nazi Leaders. He was the head of Charity Hospital in Berlin. He took a public oath in support of Hitler in 1933. Despite his Nazi affiliations, he was a friend of General Beck and knew people in Resistance circles. He was cleared of all charges of war crimes.
Died in Berlin 7/02/1951.
