Biography
Italian actor, a ruggedly handsome man portrayed in supporting and leading roles. The son of a marble laborer, he used his robust physique to portray earthy, working-class characters. He performed in over 20 films, half of which were released internationally.
Salvatori was married to actress Annie Girardot from 1962. He died of cirrhosis of the liver 3/27/1988, Rome.
