Biography
Brazilian actress in film and television, particularly good at portraying strong, independent women. When Sabatella was a child, she dreamed of being an actress, and by the time she was 14 years old, she had taken lessons in singing and classic ballet and was an active member of an amateur theater group. She attended theater college for two years before moving to Rio de Janeiro to pursue a career in television. In 1991, she won a role on the mini-series "Man Wants Peace," and other parts soon followed. Although her own background is Christian, she enjoys learning about other religions, an interest that served her well when she created the role of "Ana of the Wall," which required her to have an extensive knowledge of Judaism. In 2001, she appeared on the TV series "The Clone."
