Biography
Italian homicide victim, a young university student who was shot in the head and killed on 5/09/1997, 11:42 AM at the University La Sapienza, Rome. After a few days in a coma she died, her organs were donated.
Marta and Giovanni Scattone were teaching assistants. At a party, Scattone and Salvatore Ferraro, a teacher, were fooling around with a gun and declared that it was an accident when Marta was hit by a stray bullet.. Francesco Liparota, who was present, accused the two of the shooting. The trial began May 1998.
