Biography

Swiss alpine skier, he specialized in Downhill. Russi won the gold medal at 1972 Sapporo Olympics and a bronze at 1976 Innsbruck (defeated by Franz Klammer). He won also two gold medals at the World championships. Then he became designer of downhill olympic courses and commentator for the Swiss TV.
