Biography
American comedian with a droning, worried voice, star of "Everybody Loves Raymond," 1996 The second of three sons born to an engineer and a piano teacher, he became the class clown as a teenager. He dropped out of accounting studies to work in a series of off jobs while learning his craft in stand-up, playing local gigs and clubs for a dozen years before getting his big break, shaping up to award-winning performances. In 2009 he began another series, "Men of a Certain Age" co-starring Scott Bakula and Andre Braugher. Romano is the co-writer and one of the producers for the series.
