Italian-American artist, a portrait painter and art teacher. He was known for his portraits of Martin Luther King, Jr., and of John F. Kennedy. Some other examples of Romano’s work are "The Cameo," "Guitar Player," "Paula," and "Lucia–The Gypsy."
